Project Overview

Design of a Data Center for EVN Macedonia

BAR E.C.E. provided multidisciplinary engineering and design services for the adaptation of existing premises into a new Data Center for EVN Macedonia in Veles, North Macedonia.

The assignment involved the development of coordinated design documentation for the transformation of the existing facility into a modern technical environment supporting critical IT infrastructure. The design integrated architectural and engineering requirements with a strong focus on reliability, safety, energy efficiency and operational continuity.

Integrated Engineering for Critical Infrastructure

The project required a coordinated multidisciplinary approach addressing the specific requirements of a modern Data Center and its supporting technical spaces.

BAR E.C.E. developed integrated solutions covering electrical installations, mechanical and cooling systems, fire protection, backup power, monitoring and other supporting infrastructure, while ensuring compliance with applicable regulations, standards and technical requirements.

Particular attention was given to the performance of the existing building, the integration of new technical systems and the creation of appropriate operating conditions for critical equipment. Energy efficiency, system reliability and long-term operational performance were considered throughout the design process.

Reliable & Energy-Efficient Technical Environment

The design incorporated solutions aimed at ensuring continuous and reliable operation of the Data Center, together with appropriate environmental conditions, safety systems and efficient energy use.

Through the integration of the different engineering disciplines, BAR E.C.E. delivered a coordinated design solution supporting the development of a secure, resilient and energy-efficient Data Center environment for EVN Macedonia
