Project Overview

BAR E.C.E. is assigned Engineer in a Consortium led by WSP Switzerland, former BG-21 and IRD Engineering in this environmental project of high importance in the Region.

The consultancy consortium is providing due services according to the FIDIC Yellow Book Conditions of Contract for Plant & Design-Build for Electrical & Mech. Plant and For Building and Engineering Works Designed by the Contractor, First Edition 1999. This Plant is intended to serve the area of the capital city of Skopje with 625.000 people equivalents for the horizon year 2035. Also the features of the Plant shall allow its extension and improvement for the 2045.

Skopje WWTP site is located on the left bank of Vardar River, Trubarevo area. The main city collector of two mains shall deliver the waters for treatment to two inlet pumping stations, one of each of the riverbanks on treatment to reach the required parameters of the discharge water in the Vardar River.
