Detailed Design for WWTP for storm and surface waters at Cementarnica Usje
Project Overview
In December 2011, the Client Cementarnica Usje, awarded to BAR E.C.E. the contract for performing Detailed Design for wastewater treatment plant for storm and surface waters. This project is follow-up of the previously performed Feasibility and EIA Studies for the same treatment plant.

The Detailed Design was completed and submitted to the Client in March 2012, approved by the authorized technical review company.
Our Services
- Treatment of the storm and surface waters generated at the factory’s catchment area
- Treatment technology foresees preliminary mechanical treatment, followed by primary treatment enhanced with the use of chemicals (coagulants and flocculants), mechanical sludge treatment
- Semi-automatic process which requires minimum operation and maintenance activities
- Effluent quality according to the EU Urban Wastewater Directive 91/271/EEC and national legislation
