Implementation Assistance for Wastewater Treatment Plant in Kumanovo

Project Overview

BAR E.C.E. signed Consultancy Agreement with EBRD as Administrator of Grant Funds provided by the Government of Switzerland under the Switzerland – EBRD Macedonia MEAP Grant Fund for Implementation Assistance for Wastewater Treatment Plant in Kumanovo. BAR E.C.E. will provide consultancy services for successful implementation of the Project witn envisionded duration of 6 months until the end of September.

This Project is supported by Swiss State Secretariat for Economic Affairs (“SECO”) for construction of a Waste Water Treatment Plant (“WWTP”) and Main Collector with a grant of CHF 16,300,000.00. The main objectives of this assignment are to provide support in the facility management of the WWTP in Kumanovo including a review of operational performance and an analysis on equipment failures and replacement; to implement procurement rules for the purchase of the additional goods being financed by the SECO grant and to support Vodovod during the procurement and contracting process. The Consultant will accomplish the following tasks:

• Facility management support of the WWTP

• Procurement assistance for additional items
