The Primary Education Project (PEP) is a five-year initiative targeting all public primary schools in Macedonia. This project is a continuation of a cluster of USAID-funded projects to strengthen education in Macedonia and support decentralization efforts, as Macedonia seeks entrance to the European Union. Bilateral cooperation Project of the Governments of the Kingdom of Norway and Republic of Macedonia 2009 is entering its final stage with reconstruction of schools completed and implementation of the soft component, courses underway. There are also several seminars and analytical round tables to happen with the aim bottom line of the year program to be drawn by the stakeholders, such as Ministry of Science and Education, representatives of municipalities, schools and NGOs.
Contract is signed with China IPPR International Engineering for assistance in implementation of Donation project financed by the Government of People's Republic of China for reconstruction of Primary School “Goce Delcev” in Prilep. The project will take place in Prilep until October, 2010.

Project for Supervision of construction works of the Veterinary and Phytosanitary Border inspection facilities at the border crossing point of Tabanovce has begun after the signing of contracts between BAR E.C.E. andSIM S.p.A. from Italy. The expected period for project will be 25 months.
